Most consultants are either product designers or automation engineers. I've spent 19 years doing both — at tier-1 brand level, from a napkin sketch through to a validated production line. Engagements are custom-scoped projects, not fixed packages, because no two products or lines are the same.
From concept to something a factory can build.
I take a product from concept to something a factory can actually build — concept sketching, prototyping, and design-for-manufacture (DFM), using SolidWorks, NX and Creo (certified in all three). If you already have CAD files from a previous engineer, I'll review and optimise them rather than starting over.
This is the same process I used designing noise-cancelling headphones and earphones at Sony, an electromechanical relay socket at Schneider Electric, and a miniature photoelectric sensor at IFM — consumer-grade finish, industrial-grade tolerance discipline.
